The ENO Junglenest was the first camping hammock I ever owned, in fact it was the first hammock I have ever owned period. While I was a noob to the hammocking world, the attractive design, integrated bug net and affordable cost made this a great introductory hammock into this world of camping. The ENO Atlas Straps make it very easy for newcomers like myself to go out and setup their hammock on the trail confidently the first time without really having to learn much.
The hammock has a built in stuff sack that doubles as a storage compartment when you are laying down. There is a small pocket in the interior just big enough for a cell phone and glow in the dark zippers to make it easy to locate in the dark. At either end you have a carabiner attached to heavy duty cord for hanging the hammock. The bug net has 2 clips attached to shock cord for adjustable raising of the bug net.
There are a few items on the hammock that I wish were incorporated but that is now because I am a seasoned hammocker. In the beginning they weren't even a thought. This is a great introductory item into the hammock camping world and ever better for your kids. If I met someone looking for there first hammock to camp in this is the direction I would point them. For the money you can't go wrong, extremely durable and made of high quality materials, from a top name brand and manufacturer.
