This was my first bag as I started to explore the world of hammock camping. I stumbled across it in Walmart as I was grabbing something in the camping section. I normally never buy any gear from Walmart, but I was a noob and the look of the bag was what grabbed my attention. I liked the colors and overall look and feel for the bag, and for what I was looking to do it was perfect. The overall quality of the bag is good and made with durable material.
It has just enough space to handle an overnighter on the trail or out in the woods. With just enough space to fit my hammock sleeping system, a hydration pack and some food the bag made an excellent companion as I started my journey back to nature. This bag even joined us on a trip through France in the fall. Because of the size it is flexible enough to be used on the trail or in the airport. This bag was perfect because we were traveling with our 2 year old daughter. We packed the bag with extra food and things to keep her entertained, I also rolled up a pillow and attached it to the bottom sleeping pad loops. We were taking the red eye from Atlanta to Paris and it came in handy.
If you are just a recreational hiker who occasionally spends a night on the trail, or your traveling with kids and need a free hand I would absolutely recommend this bag.
